Thermal Packer
Mechanical Set Retrievable Thermal Packer is a double-grip, mechanical-set, retrievable, compression set Packer which is specifically designed for injection wells.
This packer is installed with the tubing string. This packer features a double-grip hold down system able of holding pressure from above and below.
An above slip releasing system reduces the force needed for releasing the packer.
A non-directional slip is released first, helping release the other slips. The double-grip mechanical set packer features to release the packer to be ideally suited for continuous steam injection.
- It can be installed using tension or compression.
- Only one-quarter right rotation needed for setting or releasing.
- Special thermal factor rated to 600 degrees F.
- 1/4 turn right-hand to install, 1/4 turn right-hand discharge
- Production, stimulation and injection application.
- It can be run with left-hand on-off tool.
- It can be left in tension, compression or neutral position.
