Expansion Joint
Expansion Joint is used to enables expansion and contraction during injection or production operations.
They are also used among packers to allow stroke for setting and releasing packers and provides for rotation through the tool. Available with optional seals for low to high temperatures and in lengths up to twenty feet.
- Expansion joints within the completion assembly prevent any movement or forces even transmitted to fixed components like packers or tubing hangers.
- Expansion joints allow a movement balance in pipelines.
- Uses only non-elastomeric sealing technology
- Maintains pressure integrity during expanding and contracting
- Spines allow capability of transmitting torque over the expansion joint
