SAFETY JOINT – SHEAR, ROTATIONAL & SWIVEL SHEAR
The Safety Joint allows positive release of the tubing string in perfection where retrieval problems are anticipated. Our safety joints are also available in straight pull shear release, rotational release, and swivel shear release versions.
Shear Safety Joints:
The Shear-out safety joint enables easy release and retrieval of the tubing string incompletions. These are placed between a packer and a sand screen to provide a quick tool to release and retrieve the production string in challenging situations.

Rotational Safety Joints:
The Rotational Safety Joints are widely used between packers in single, dual, and triple completions where a shear release is not required.

Swivel Shear:
The Safety Shear Swivel can be set to shear at the required torque. It works as the cross-over sub from the upper and larger pipe to the lower and small pipe.
