Bridge Plug

Where it is run and set in the casing to isolate a lower zone while an upper section is tested, cemented, stimulated, produced, or injected either permanently or temporarily within the well bore to stop fluids or gas from reaching an upper zone of the well while it's being worked on or treated.
Bridge plugs can be permanent type or a retrievable type. It can be set mechanically and hydraulically. In short, it is a two-in-one product that can be converted from a cement retainer to a bridge plug or vice versa.
